Description

I want to create a new organization so that the same ODN instance can be used by users belonging to more than one organization.

Preconditions

  • no preconditions defined

How to do it:

 

  • clicks 'User management' in 'Tools' combo box on main page of internal catalog
    • main page of ODN/MidPoint is displayed
  • clicks 'Users' in main menu
  • selects and clicks 'New organization' in 'Users' menu
    • the following editable fields are displayed (all mandatory): 
      • 'Name' 
      • 'Display name'
      • 'Description'
  • fills in the values
      • 'Parent org. units' field is available with 'Edit' button
      • clicks 'Edit' button
        • all existing organizations are displayed, if no organization was created after installation yet, 'root' and 'comsode' is displayed only
      • selects and clicks a parent organization for the organization being created (this can be either 'root' or any other organization already created)  
  • when satisfied, clicks 'Save' button
    • Organization is created in ODN/Midpoint
