Description
I want to upgrade the existing instance of ODN to a newer version without manual backup of existing data so that I can use the extended/improved functionality of a newer version.
Preconditions
- fully functional ODN instance with version older than the newest exists
How to do it:
Follows the installation instructions for ODN upgrade
there is no need to manually backup existing data, but it is good practice to make a backup before upgrade
all pipelines remain fully functional in upgraded system
after the successful upgrade the following list remains unchanged:
configuration settings
datasets
resources
users
organizations
pipelines
scheduling rules
associations between datasets and pipelines
associations between datasets and external catalogs
DPU templates
behavior of pipelines when launched
the existing content of log files is not erased
