Description
I want to synchronize the catalog record of a dataset with all external catalogs associated with the dataset.
Preconditions
- at least one publicly available catalog record exists
- at least one external catalog is defined and associated with the publicly available catalog record
Acceptance criteria
- clicks on publicly available dataset 'Name' in the list of internal catalog records
- clicks 'Manage' button
- selects 'Publishing' tab
- the list of associated external catalogs is displayed
- selects 'Synchronize with all external catalogs now' from 'Action' combo box
- catalog record is replicated to all catalogs in the list of associated external catalogs instantly
- 'Last sync on' is updated with current date and time for each external catalog in the list
- 'Status' is updated for each external catalog in the list according to the result of replication process, it takes following values:
- OK - synchronization with external catalog was successful
- FAILED - synchronization with external catalog was not successful
- catalog record is replicated to all catalogs in the list of associated external catalogs instantly
- or selects 'Synchronize now' from Action combo box for a selected external catalog
- catalog record is replicated to selected associated external catalog instantly
- 'Last sync on' is updated with current date and time for each external catalog in the list
- 'Status' is updated for each external catalog in the list according to the result of replication process, it takes following values:
- OK - synchronization with external catalog was successful
- FAILED - synchronization with external catalog was not successful
